I am a 44 year old divorced single mom of 2. My daughter turns 18 this year and my son turns 10. As you know the economy sucks right now and a lot of us are struggling. As I sat on my couch one morning, I thought to myself-how can I make some extra cash while sitting at home?

As I scrolled on Pintrest I found a pin that read “how to make money as a blogger” I was intrigued and thought to myself “that sounds easy, not to mention fun” so here we are.

I’m not sure how much i’ll make or if this is even worth it but hey, what do I have to lose?

A little back story on my life:

I met a guy at the age of 28 and fell in love. I was at that time a single mom and my daughter was 2. Funny story, he was actually my teacher in high school! Who would have thought that 10 yrs later I would run into “MR. B” at a .daycare of all places! Fast forward a few years later, we are married and now have a son. Over the years I struggled with blending a family, as he had 2 daughters of his own. As the years kept going by I became dependent on alcohol. I’ll explain this more in depth in my next blog. If you can relate, feel free to follow along in my blogging journey as I’ll dive more in depth into that topic later on.

Long story short, we began to argue… a lot…. Me over doing it all, raising the kids etc etc…him over my drinking. The end result was divorce and here we are, 15 years later and me telling my story for all the world to see. My hopes in doing this, is not only to create content that women can relate to, but also make some extra cash while doing it. We all know it’s reassuring to learn that we are not the only ones out there struggling. And I am here to blog all about my experience strength and hope!
